An architect of distinction, Warren designed the family at Sea Ranch in 1970 and an addition completed in 1991 resulted in a Sea Ranch Design Award.. Shortly after moving to The Sea Ranch Warren began work on the restoration of the Stengel Barn. The roof of the barn had to be torn down and replaced, and Warren and others had the idea of cutting up the old beamss into pedestals and burning the Sea Ranch logo on the side. These mementos were sold to help raise money for the project. Warren was a regular participant in the Tuesday "Hikes for Health" At Christmas, he could be found vartending at the Christmas Carol Night in the barn. Warren was also a member of the Gualala Arts Board during the years before and during the construction of the new Art Center. He served briefly as Membership Chair and as Chair of the Lecture Series. He ws also a supporter of the Chamber Music Series. |
