He was an early board member and President of Redwood Coast Medical Service, helping to get it funded and started. Joined other residents who were members of the North Coast Institute in persuading Mendocino and Sonoma counties to cooperate in supporting bus service from the coast to Santa Rosa and Ukiah. Served as Institute's President. Chaired the Commons Committee Headed the Wastewater Task Force. Was a member of the Forum Committee. In 1982 was employed as Interim Manager for 4 months while a new Community Manager was recruited. |
