Served as a volunteer in abalone and deer poaching patrols, coast rescue and fire department calls. "Tom is the unofficial and unpaid supervisor of the Asociation's "rolling stock" and was the Sea Ranch expert on hand to approve the new (used) fire engine before it was purchased last year (1972). It was also pointed out that Tom was not an "organization man" implying that he preferred actions to meetings. This was obvious. He wasn't the Mid-winter Meeting to receive his award." |
