Trails map, 2020. 2 folded copies, one regular paper, one waterproof paper. Authored and published by The Sea Ranch Association. Side one covers Gualala Point Regional Point Park through Vantage Road; side two covers Wild Moor Reach through the southern edge of Sea Ranch At Yardarm. Includes Trail Safety guidelines, The Sea Ranch Trail Rules, The Sea Ranch Trails Code. Per an announcement of the TSRA website, these are the new features of the 2020 map: -5 new trail segments: Forest Trail (east of Highway One at the south end of TSR) Del Mar Loop Trail (east and west of Highway One near Del Mar Center) Airstrip Trail (along Timber Ridge Road near TSR airstrip) Azalea connector (between upper and lower Azalea Loop Trail) Tallgrass / Leeward connector (west of Highway One just north of Del Mar Center) -Twenty (20) new architecture / landscape markers. -A new icon to designate the location of some prominent redwood groves worthy of a visit -RV storage and recycling relocations identified -Addition of some new place names as provided by the Commons Landscape Committee and trails names as provided by the Trails Committee -The six (6) easy access trails have a unique trail identifier (see map Legend) to make them easier to find. These trails are on relatively flat terrain, close to parking, and lead to the coastal Bluff Trail. They include routes starting at: Brigantine's Reach Galleon's Reach Navigator's Reach Access to Stengel Beach from Wild Iris Pipers Reach Sea Pine Reach -Changes to the trail routes, eliminating decommissioned sections and correcting trails changed since the last printing of the map -New rest / view locations, including six approved by the Board of Directors that are in the process of being implemented. Trail maps are in a binder, filed by Object ID number (2001.59.1) in the cabinets. |
