Santa Rosa Press Democrat, Feb. 16, 1968, byline James Reid, extensive article on Sonoma County Planning Department's recommendation to swap Sea Ranch coastal access for a regional park at the Gualala River. Concerns raised about public access on the Sea Ranch were discussed but no satisfactory answers offered,and the issues were deemed "too complex" to resolve at this time. Conservationists, naturalists and teachers were at odds with the lack of a decision, and the issue is to be continued at a joint Zoner-Planner meeting on March 7. |
